My Cello will get a check up

So, I have an appointment made for Mikey G to get a checkup. He will receive a new set of strings and a magnetic wolf tone eliminator, also.

They will see if the finish needs any touch ups, as well as everything else. Mikey G is getting a thorough checkup.

They don't sell the green label Evah Pirazzi strings. They could have ordered them and I could have put the checkup off a week or so, but, being an impatient person, I decided to let them select a set for me, based on my likes. Their cello guy knows what I like in sound and I trust them. Plus, I am always open to trying a different set. 😁

The wolf tone eliminator that gets attached to the string, currently on Mikey G,  just does not give me enough adjustment possibility. I have a magnetic one on a violin, and I really prefer that to the string wolf tone eliminator. I also had a magnetic one on a viola. I traded up with that viola and kept the wolf tone eliminator just in case. So far, that newer viola does not need one, but I have it in case the need arises.

I have had Mikey G for about 3 years. I had to put off getting the checkup and it will now get it its checkup.

Mikey G is a lovely cello to play. I donated my other cellos and am holding on to Mikey G. He is getting a lot more play time because he is my main cello. I have an inexpensive electric cello that I can use outside and also, when I want to be "quietly" playing my cello. Sounds like an oxymoron. Silently and cello. 😂😂😂
