I had a really good day playing my violin and viola. I don't know what it was. I played 3 sessions of my violin today. I did a session with both my violas after the last violin session.

I felt like I was playing really well. I know my intonation was better and I did not lose it as often. When I did lose it, I was able to find my way back.

I think my bowing was better with all 3 instruments. Since I am testing a violin bow, I did not play the violins I use for fiddle or other bright sounding tunes. The bow I am testing does not allow those instruments to sound as nice with the brighter tone. It is quite noticeable to me. I think that maybe the instrument plays a part in choosing a bow, too.😁

Actually, that does make sense. The instruments are made differently and from different wood.

I hope it continues tomorrow.

Good night, all.

@Mouse - It's days like that makes one stick with it through the bad ones! I've had a few like that and it really is a great motivator.

Yes, it is, @JohnG. I have had many more off days than on, but the on days are worth it.

Thank you, @ELCBK. It has been difficult, but things are getting back to normal. It really was fun, yesterdy.

So far, today was not as good. I would have done this topic in my blog, but I know this will be an up and down and want learners to know it is not unheard of to have this happen. 😁
