Hey everybody..Haaa i meant making not kaking...!!!

Any tips for making the left thumb slide easier on the neck?

Is your thumb sticking? I would try baby powder. Also, perhaps your violins neck needs to be cleaned. Could have rosin on it or something. If it's not smooth and you've cleaned it, perhaps try 0000 fine wool.

Thanks man mostly in the summer when it's humid my thumb seems to stick..

  I cleaned and polished the neck which made it better but sometimes it does not slide smoothly..

Mabe trying to release the left hand greep could help? I had the problem with squeezing violin's neck - effect was the same (hard to shift positions).
