The little chatbox on the upper right of every page did change slightly a while back. There used to be a link at the bottom that said something like "View full size" that would open it in a new tab or window. That went away; now, if you want to open the chat in a new tab, click on "Fiddlerman" at the top of the little chatbox.

Hope that's what you're looking for.
