If you could pick 1 spot on Earth and be able to play violin for as long as you want without worry of disturbing anyone and be alone playing.  No worries of being jailed for tresspass...where would it be?  It can be in  a famous venue or in your own home.. outside or in.

Ooooo... Glacier National Park - nice!

There are 2 places I'm sorry I couldn't visit.

One is Hawaii, I'd be very happy playing Edgar in any botanical garden there.

The other is Kyoto, Japan - there's quite a few temple gardens, I'd probably have to spend time playing in all of them. 😊

That's an interesting question,  that I had really never given any thought to.

I like the temple garden idea.  very peaceful from what Ive seen on tv and such.

Ive been there a couple of times @Mark . I think out of all the memorials something about the Vietnam memorial struck me most.  But witnessing changing of guard then, from what I remember the lone soldier continuing to walk his post is right there with it.  Would you play taps or something else?

I am happy where I am playing now, so I would have to say right here in my livingroom.  Not as grand as most, but I am happy right here.

On a funny nite, I would real like to always play "in" tune-ville, also!

I really like this topic.

Good question, most likely a medley, consisting of Amazing Grace, Ashokens Fairwell and Taps.

those are very fitting and id have to say id naturally lean that way too.

i didnt mean to suggest we break laws or be devious to satisfy a musical desire.  Maybe it sounded that way with the tresspass comment.   think i was trying to rule out we wouldnt be welcome.  And kinda in a round about way seeing what people thought were some of the IT type venues out there.  Or ones considered acoustically over the top like concert halls or cathedrals. probably shouldve just asked that, but seemed more fun asking the way i did.

I picked mine since always wanted to go there and id think the space would have a delay type effect off the mountains

@ABitRusty,  nice but I wonder if Iceberg Lake would have more interesting acoustics. 🤔. I'd love to get in one of the GMNF Fire Towers and let it sing.
