I was just wondering if anyone knows of some beautiful pieces of music that are easy enough, technically, to be within the range of the average violin beginner to 1-2 year student?
Some I've already got in mind to try when I have some fundamentals down are:
Le Cygne (The Swan)
Londonderry Air (Oh Danny Boy)
Canon (or some simple variation of it)
Ode to joy
I'd like to hear some thoughts and ideas on this, or even videos of you playing! Thanks, I love it here. Violin is scary and daunting and this place is my safe zone haha.

A pretty, but easy(ish) song to play is Si Bheag Si Mhor (Pronunced She Be -ag She Moor"). Written by Turlough O'Carolan in 1696 -- I believe.
Here's the sheet music

Here's how it sounds with some ornamentation:

Thanks guys, great replies!
Pierre, I'm very grateful for the list of music you provide, and was only looking for even MORE
Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, I'm just on that "just started" high right now. I'm sure you can all understand. I want to play aaaalllllll day every day at this point. I should probably pace myself so I don't get burnt out.
