welcome to fiddlerman Frank. I think we need a little more info. is this coming from your fiddle when you play ? Is it during recording ? hope we can help but we need more.

There is no shame in playing twinkle, youre playing Mozart

...well, if we do *tell you* - gonna share the prize with us ?

Image clipped from the site this was on - I don't want to post the link - but if you google the following without quotes "twice closes tap fiddle bow secret sound" you'll find it....

The $10k prize would nicely support the shipping costs for the FM community travelling violin, methinks....

If I am wrong in my suspicions, I immediately apologize, but it does seem a bit of a coincidence !!! LOL

Bill is probably right. Anyone who wants to give it a go. Who knows..... I wrote down all the clues so far down below and you can find the link as Bill mentioned above. $10000 is a lot of cash. :)

Clue: a type of tie = that would be a bow of course
Clue: someone in Randy Rogers Band plays this instrument =
CLUE: "going once, going ____, SOLD" = Twice
CLUE: You use this to play string instruments. = Bow or Fret
Clue: (saying) when one door ______ another door opens = Shuts
Clue: you do this dance with loud shoes that make noise = Tap
Finish these words with a word that's in the answer - "Brief ____, suit ______." = Case
CLUE: "If you're gonna play in Texas you gotta have a _____ in the band!" = Fiddle
Clue: "lightweight"
CLUE: Sounds good, looks cool.
Clue: "valuables can go in this" Maybe a safe
CLUE: Long and thin part.
Clue: "soft inside"
CLUE: "Dancing might be involved" ?ho-down?
Clue: "businesses do this"
CLUE: Oddly Shaped
Clue: "Easy To carry"
CLUE: Some parts are wood.
Clue: "action is neccessary"
CLUE: this is a two-part sound.

After taxes you'll get a little more than half lol. You'd actually get more money if the contest was for $9,999. But anyways...I'm stumped. :/

I had no idea Hman. Maybe it should go to a non-profit organization then. ;-)
