Next week is our 69th neighborhood Halloween Festival. http://www.irvingtonhalloween.com/

On the main street there are food trucks and craft booths.  There is pumpkin carving and store front window painting for all ages.

My son won a couple of years ago.DSC02209.JPGImage Enlarger

There is a 5K run/walk race.  Well the walkers and runners run right by our house. The couple of years I haven't walked I have cheered them on.

I am thinking, thinking, thinking about sitting out in the front yard and fiddling!!!  I am getting excited just thinking about doing it.   One step closer to busking down on main street during the festival!!

Am I good enough?  Can a lone fiddle carry it off?  I wonder if any of my friends from the weekly jam would want to join me?

LOL they might run/walk faster trying to get away from me!!

My grandson ran in the Bat Dash so I didn't play.  As hard as I tried I couldn't be in 2 places at the same time!!!

But I had an idea for next year.  Take my fiddle with me and just play down there in the crowd?  maybe?  not sure?  I have a whole year to think about it.

LOL, a whole year to think about it. I don't know if that is a good thing or not.
