Hello dear violinists on fiddlerman, my name is Leroy and I am playing the violin for over 7 years now, I first started playing on a music school in my neighborhood and I was not a fast learner, I have ADHD and that's why I am distracted a lot of the time, so after a couple months they kicked me out and my heart was broken because I made some really cool friends there and I loved the violin. My mom was mad at me because I was kicked out of the school, and my dad was mad at the school because they kicked me out.
So, what did I do?
I first joined the local church because my church was looking for a violinst and I signed up, but I got bored over there very quickly. I don't like church that much to be honest. Finally I decided to take some online lessons, I started using online lessons for free but that didn't work very well because it was very limited sadly. I decided to pay for my online violin trainings and it worked good for me. Very good for me actually, and now I am taking online lessons for over years now. I gave my first concert last week at my music school I used to be at, they did not recognized me haha.
This was my first post hopefully you liked it, let me know what you think about this, speak to you all soon.
Cheers,
Leroy

Welcome Leroy. We have so many cool "how I got started" stories here. Glad you stuck with it and congratulations on your concert.
Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.
