What a great video.  Amazing how violently the string's vibrate, a perfect example of why the fingerboard is scooped.

Great post, "di" and thank's for sharing.

I think that video was done the morning after a heavy "session" the night before!

I am amazed at how old people of my age are.....

so interesting, all the books say to keep the bow parrallel to the bridge and play down the center in between the bridge and the fingerboard. Just goes to show how many opinions there are out there. Im gonna give FMs a try. I already knew about tilting the bow.

Wow, what a great set of links. I love the slow motion video of the string vibrating. It's amazing!

I missed my video when I saw your link Denise. Then after Dennis's comment I checked again to see what he was asking whether or not they had permission or not.

roflol - The answer is no but I don't mind at all. It's free advertisement for fiddlerman.com

Thanks for the link Denise.thumbs-up

Well, they missed mine ... but I might have posted it here before.

Geeky, in the sense of, well, the shortest note you can produce with the bow ...
