I`ve faced with the problem. I have no troubles with flexibility of my right wrist when I play... ordinary. But there is a problem with it while playing doble stops. Double stops require more pressure on a bow. As a result - tension in the hand. How should I solve the issue?
Thanks.

My teacher says you don't need more pressure on the bow when you play double stops, it is the angle of your bow to ensure your bow hair touches both strings.

Your teacher is partly correct but not entirely pky. The instrument vibrates just as much with the same amount of pressure but the volume is distributed between two notes. You need a bit more pressure but above all, don't play too close to the bridge Hurton and you should be able to get away with a lot less pressure.

Wow!!! Thanks a lot. The problem was that I`ve played too close to the bridge. Now, it is ok. Yeah, I can play double stops! banana violin-1267
