@Mark brought these up in another thread and I purchased a pair. Maybe not same style but tech wise same concept. I purchased mainly for using when I didnt need to have room sounds blocked by music or whatever when listening through headphones... mowing, work...housework and still be able to hear summons from other room...😉😁
one cool thing ive discovered about these is playing a track or tune..or drone.. through them and playing along with violin. Usually like for the group project stuff ( click tracks) or my own backing tracks i either have to use closed back headphones and crank up my own playing from mic..which never worked so well.. or take one earbud out. that works ok i guess but the other earbud is loose and flops around or because of weight causes other earbud to fall out.
with the bonz type headphones you can hear the music or click AND your own playing. of course in a video theyll be on the side of your head...but they work great otherwise.
thanks to @Mark for bringing up he uses...maybe not your intention as a recommendation.. but ive found them handy!

Very cool never thought of using them for that, I bought a cheap pair of Bluetooth ear buds to use for the group projects.
But to be perfectly honest I've played in groups since I was 15 and never used a click track. We all learned to listen to each other and play together supporting the singers and instrumentalists.
While I understand the need for using a click track for a remote projects like are done here. It is so foreign to me it's very distracting just hearing that click and not hearing all the parts and pieces at the same time and meshing in as a total group.
So using a click track is a skill I need to work on just hard for and old dog to learn new tricks.

Been looking at bluetooth earbuds & was contemplating whether or not I needed noise canceling.
I really only want one for my right ear.
Also, thought it would be smart to get the over-the-ear kind, even though most come with different sized ear caps.
My Brother recommended "Beats" brand, it was for Apple product users - not me.
Had my eye on these by Rizizi:
Too many years of wearing earplugs along with a headset - would rather not have either one!
Thanks to this thread, I started looking into the bone conduction headsets & I've read that with these you can feel a lot of vibration(?)
Bose Sport Open Earbuds are not bone conduction & supposed to be free of vibration, but not keen on 2hr full charging time - also it's not clear if I have to use them with my phone. 🤔
This brand is more reasonably priced and only 20 minutes charge for 6hrs continuous use. I realize it's hard to trust reviews anymore, but seriously considering these.
Now, do I have to be concerned about sound from Open Earbuds showing up on a recording?

so far ive found you can turn up too loud and theyll vibrate but honestly a little above mid volume on my phone has been enough to hear and play. havent tried at work or mowing yet. i plan on using ear plugs or pods and have these on. i think its good to be able to at least hear a bit of the machine im working with is a good thing. an early warning of things going wrong...😐 its happened.
one thing about them as @Mark said you can position directly over the ear and they kinda function more like earbuds. so far just below ear how they fall naturally when put on has been working for playing fiddle with. its like there is a speaker in the room around you and you can also hear the room.
"Now, do I have to be concerned about sound from Open Earbuds showing up on a recording?"
not sure if thats an actual question or thought youre posing but im not sure yet. Im pretty sure the answer will be no unless youve got them maxed out.

Guess I'll find out how well open earbuds work for me, maybe even tonight!
These Oladance are what I finally settled on.

Woo hoo! Just arrived. 🤗
No, they aren't bone conducting.
The larger piece behind the ear is the battery.
EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE for my little ears AND Kevin said he's amazed at how comfortable they feel on his huge ones!
Sound FABULOUS! 😊
Paired to Alexa quick/easy, Kevin is seeing about downloading the googly store app on my Alien - so it won't interfere with phone recording. Should know more about everything later.
Oops, no need for any app to pair with my laptop Bluetooth, it was only to use for phone calls (which I don't need) - easy, I'M HAPPY!
Finally... no more pain from inner earbuds or from a headset ever again!

Figured I'd update, now that I've used the Oladance Open Earbuds for a while.
They are NOT Bone Conducting, but I LOVE THEM! They are still unbelievably comfortable - think I could forget I was wearing them, if not for sound. Have gotten many hours before even needing a charge.
I still have them recognizing my laptop & used one to play with the click track for the County Down GP. 🤗
