I've got a pretty cheap electric violin (Cecilio) and I would like to know if anyone has any insight on how to achieve a warmer, more acoustic sound out of it through Pro Tools. Be it a plugin or eq settings, etc. I'm currently running Pro Tools Express (10) and am plugged into an M-Audio M-Track Plus. I've been able to achieve a better sound out of it using some racks in Guitar Rig but can't quite get it dialed to the point that I'm happy with it... Any input or advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Run it through an equalizer plugin, turn down the highs, raise the lows. Also, add reverb, chorus and perhaps echo. You'll obviously need to experiment with that.
