Anything past this first sentence will be over my head, but I'm going to try anyway.  I found Audacity and made a recording and played with it.  It is saved as a wav file and is 25m large.  How should I save it so that it can be uploaded here?  It is only audio, no video.

Aloha @MrYikes,

You should be able to export it as an .mp3 file, and most likely have a smaller file to boot.  You'll need the libmp3lame.dylib file to export it as an .mp3 (note "export" vice "save"). I've uploaded .mp3 files, but I think .wav files are acceptable as well.
