I didn't even know about the International Fiddlerman Project until a few days ago as I was on the road with a band for about a month but FM asked if I would do a backing track for Red Wing here's kind of a sloppy one right now and will do a much better one this weekend as all my mics and recording gear are up in LA at my rehearsal space cause I'm working on another recording project. This is just recorded with my older Macbook built in mic. (mmm can't just upload MP3?)
Did you try UPLOAD ATTACHMENT function ?
I think you have to open new screen/post to see ATTACHMENT function. I don't see the function on an EDIT screen.

Fantastic MGN, thanks so much. I'll find time to do a demo with that. I think many will enjoy practicing with that track.
I adjusted the hight of your attachments. If you only attach and insert an audio file please uncheck constrain proportions and give the hight (right side box) about 15 px otherwise we get a big open wasted white space.

Thanks MGM, I appreciate the time you took to put this out there for us.Hope your recording project goes well.
FM can you email me the mp3 guitar backing? Out of 4 computers in this house the only one I can get these files on is the one running windows 7, which is my wife's laptop. My server runs xp and the other 2 laptops run vista. I just upgrade to the latest versiion of quicktime and confirmed that the latest version was running as my add on. I think the problem might have something to do with my firewall although the windows 7 laptop runs through this server to the internet.

All of you having problems, have you tried waiting a good while. I mean let it load for say 5 minutes and come back to it to see if it popped up.
Also, make sure that you have a quicktime plugin or something that enables you to see the quicktime player.

All you people who can't get it to play, are you all using PC's? Which version OS? I want to work this out.

I'll make a youtube video backing track this weekend since nobody has problems with that. I'm not seeing the backing track right now either. I did wait about 10 minutes to see if it would load up. I made the file as a MP3 and used the attachment feature to upload. The file is just 2 megs or less. I am on a Macbook with OS 10.6.8. I use either Firefox or Safari web browsers.
