I am thinking of learning the viola part of the project at violaman.com

Heres my version of Redwing on Viola....cant wait until my new Viola arrives, the A on this one sucks and I need to do some bridge and soundpost work

Great job! Loved the embellishments on the A part, and what a cute ending!

Barry, sounds like the soundpost is too far to the treble side. If you can move it toward the C string it might make a big difference.

Thanks Kev !! I'll try that
EDIT: Actually I was looking at it and it appears to need moving closer to the bridge foot as its too far back (towards the tail piece). The bridge was cut kind of shoddy (to be expected at that price) so I think once I touch that up it will help also.

Sorry the new viola wasn't what we expected it to be. Goes to show you what inconsistencies exist with these quickly made Chinese instruments.
