Having been playing now for 6 months, even though I have owned my Stentor for 12 months, I am looking for an upgrade.

I saw FM's review of the concertmaster, and like it but I think I may have found a much cheaper option from another Internet site.

Your thoughts please......

Your link didn't work for me so here's one that isn't for a mobile phone.

I do think this violin might be a bit over your capabilities.

Well, it says you can play Bach, Mozart and Paganini on it.

Price is nice, but I dunno.. No sound sample of it that I've been able to find.  It could be all looks and no tone, y'know?

Ohhh, so THAT's my problem - my fiddle didn't come with an owner's manual. I bet I have been trying to play unapproved songs on it! Cuz we all know it can't possible be operator error!

Wait! How come my violin doesn't have buttons???? No wonder I play out of tune. I'm gonna send it back.

When the work's all done and the sun's settin' low,

I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.

Well where do you expect anything electronic to be made these days?   Unless it is "vintage" or you make it yourself, it's usually going to be made somewhere in the orient.  Even if you build it yourself, the parts are most likely from China, Malaysia, Japan, etc..

The real hoot though is that it is called a Concert Master.  That could make for some great practical jokes for b-days and xmas..
