Has anyone tried the CVN 700.  I am interested in knowing how it sounds.

Here's FM's review of the CVN 700 Kevin:

I was at a music shop that had a used CVN 700 and I tried it. It didn't project a sound as well as my CVN 500 and I noticed that the CVN 700 in the shop though had the soundpost really close to the bridge. I also tried a few violins that were more expensive and I walked out knowing I had a really good sounding violin for the price with my 500. I'm curious on those Kohr violins that FM's shop has.

I watched the video and although I thought the look of the violin was excellent I was a little disapointed at the sound of it. It sounded kind of harsh to me.possibly soundpost and bridge and strings but for the money I would want the soundpost right and the bridge right.  I don't much care what bow comes with it. Who knows when I get a check from the gas company I might get a Kohr.

Curtiss bought one and was very disappointed. He ended up returning it and buying the Johannes Kohr K550 instead. Check out his review on Fiddlershop.com

Don't go by my ears Naska, If it sounds good to you than that is all that matters.
