I am new here to the forum and to the violin.  As an adult I want a violin that will last and looks and sounds really good as well.  I am considering the Fiddlerman Artist and the Fiddlerman Master.  The only other thread was on the concert and master and a few years ago.  Any opinion on which outfit I should choose?  The YouTube videos all sound good..

Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

If you already have a violin and have some idea of what it feels like to play one then you might consider the in home trial.  If you haven't I'm not sure it would be worth the extra hassle but that's ME.. not saying either way just my opinion.

I don't think you would be short changing yourself with either.  Note that the master is out of stock at the moment.  that might change by the time you read this. Regardless..from what I have experienced in my time with instruments is that I buy one then about say...6 months to a year in..I start analyzing it and thinking..man..a little more and I couldve got XYZ..  prepare thyself!.  you can find several topics on here about all that kind of stuff.  I had fiddlershop demo 3 for me and from the videos couldn't tell much difference.  I emailed Pierre and asked him to pick one and went with it.

I have a Concert and an Artist. Both are beautiful instruments. Get the Master if you can afford it. Otherwise, even though you will like the Artist, you will say you should have gotten the Master. We always want the best we can get.

No matter which instrument you end up getting, you get a 45 day satisfaction guarantee.
