Yeah I may try them next time. I figure I'll try something different each time I restring for the next year at least.
I'm still pleased but I will say that although the E no longer whistles I think I may have traded that whistling for some sort of scratchy whistling on the A now. May be the fault of the aluminum A.
I do notice a really good improvement when playing double stops now though. Much easier.
I'm curious about Eudoxa's considering they are a very low tension string, although people do say they sound dull on new instruments.
I think the GCV would probably handle them well enough.
