Just a quick note that I've been trying the Holstein Reserve Rosin for the last 5 days.
I was curious about the beeswax, so bought it on a whim.
So far, LOVING IT!
Lasts well with minimal dust/residue & sounds great! House humidity, right now, runs approx 50% and temps fluctuating between 69°-76°F (with A/C).
...using it on my new Arcus P5 Octagonal Stick Viola bow with 'Edgar' - a Glasser 5-string Viola. I'll try to remember to update after I've used it for a longer period.

Funnily enough, I bought a pound of beeswax when I bought a didgeridoo 12 years ago, but I never needed it, as the didge's mouthpiece was perfect without. I wonder if I should use it as rosin instead. I wonder if I've still got it, even. I haven't seen it for a while. I wonder if should melt some cheap rosin and beeswax together and see what happens.
