Just a quick note that I've been trying the Holstein Reserve RosinΒ for the last 5 days.Β

I was curious about the beeswax, so bought it on a whim.Β

So far, LOVING IT!Β

Lasts well with minimal dust/residue & sounds great!Β  House humidity, right now, runs approx 50% and temps fluctuating between 69Β°-76Β°F (with A/C).Β

...using it on my new Arcus P5 Octagonal Stick Viola bow with 'Edgar' - a Glasser 5-string Viola.Β  I'll try to remember to update after I've used it for a longer period.

Funnily enough, I bought a pound of beeswax when I bought a didgeridoo 12 years ago, but I never needed it, as the didge's mouthpiece was perfect without. I wonder if I should use it as rosin instead. I wonder if I've still got it, even. I haven't seen it for a while. I wonder if should melt some cheap rosin and beeswax together and see what happens.

I use jade, have done for a couple of years, very little dust and doesnt seem to be affected at all by any temp variations.

Cant beat a sunny day
