Electric Guitar vs Electric Violin!!!

Today, I ran across the guitar battle scene in the 1986 film, 'Crossroads' (which I'd seen years ago).  The film was supposed to be about a journey to discover the traditional Blues, but for the sake of drawing in viewers, what should have been a battle of Blues was instead a more modern rock battle of guitar 'shredding'... still, extremely powerful & thrilling! 

This led me to find some epic displays between Peruvian guitarist Charlie Parra del Riego & FABULOUS fiddler, Faridde Caparó!

Anyway, close-up view is great to study.

Guitar vs Violin II: World of Warcraft Medley! 

 

Guitar vs Violin III: Storm (Vivaldi)! 

 

I think there might already be other battles posted elsewhere - I can only think of a violin vs violin style battle. 

Anyone have other examples to share?
