I figure you've already seen her more recent stuff, like Master of Tides.

The UE Boom wireless speakers they used for that looked pretty interesting. I wonder how many of them they used and what the sound quality was actually like for listeners at that event.

Well, pretty much any time you see a video, unless it is strictly an amateur or low-fi sort of effort, or where the whole point of the production was to realistically show the playing and sound, the sound was usually done separately and then dubbed. The needs of getting good audio and getting good video footage don't really line up.
With this one, the basic setting and storyline was that it was supposed to be some spontaneous performance that catches the audience by surprise, maybe. But that is the set of the stage and the storyline, not reality. Even just from the moments that they went to slow motion, that was obvious.
Still a cool video and fun to watch, though. And she can probably actually dance and play at the same time a lot better than most of us, even though her produced videos are no doubt a bit wilder than when she has to actually get a good sound while doing somewhat more realistic moves in live performance.

I sure enjoy her spunk and playing. I just say go go go girl .. I liked her documentary ... And I like her pressing on with her art despite those that have some "violinist" expectation. I feel she has come a long way and inspired many. Bless her!!!

Ps.. I have to giggle ... When I was young and Alice Cooper and Kiss were the Bain of society and "music was going to heck" ...and the " Solid Gold Dancers were ruining morals of girls everywhere.."
. Now what???.. People complain that we have a clean cut cute girl jumping around and making great music and inspiring young people and there are still those who grumble grumble..
It is all part of the " Biz " I guess.
I like a bit of it all myself.

In June of this year my wife and I went to a Lindsey Sterling concert in New York City. It was a professional production and most of the time that she performed she was energetically dancing.Really I only noticed two intonation slips in the whole concert (not that I was looking for mistakes) Definitely she wad playing live and not , er, "Milli Vanillied"/"Bow synched" g
