In addition to being Independence Day, the 4th of July is the anniversary of the the battle of Gettysburg (July 2-4, 1863).

I was watching Ken Burns The Civil War series this past week--Ashokan Farewell is the theme song of the series. 

I played this back in one of the parties, but I thought I'd do it again since it's 4th of July & I've just heard the tune a bunch of times this past week as I watched the series smile
