A Tribute to my Mom
My mom passed away two days ago, not due to COVID-19, no wake or real funeral. This was my tribute I shared with my siblings.

I sent this video to all my siblings as a tribute to my mom, who passed away, non-COVID-19 related a couple days ago. Today, there was a burial. Ten people could stand 6 feet apart, one of the 10 was the officiator, spouses had to stay in the car. I could not attend for a number of reasons, but this was my tribute that I shared with my family, with this disclaimer. “Something always happens when I press to record, and it ain’t good.”

Amazing Grace for my Mom

I mention the passing and what I did in case any of you are in this position during this particularly sad and odd time. My sister appreciated it.

I will be removing the video in a few weeks, so if you re viewing this and the video will not show up, it is because I removed it.

I wish I could edit the description of my post. It is riddled with errors. Please note, it is not COVID-19 related.

Oh @Mouse , I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. It's so hard to lose a parent, and I'm sure that these odd times are just making it that much more difficult to bear.

It was a beautiful tribute that you made for her..... I hope that it brought you some comfort too.

I'm sorry for your loss, and especially for it happening in these times. It was clear to me from your playing that that you were there in spirit.

So sorry to hear about your mom, cid. I just lost my mother last year. It is not easy losing a mother no matter how old we are. May she live forever in your heart and in the Lord's presence. Beautiful tribute!

Thank you all.

I just wanted to show there are ways to pay tribute if times do not allow for the norm.

Nicely done, a fine tribute and remembrance, thanks for sharing that in such a difficult time.

Our thoughts are with you.
