Simple enough description.  Something I played around with on a day off.

Theres a party about forts!??  😉😊  Im thinking I figured out Napoleon Crossing the Rhine has a lot in common with a tune called Loch Levin I linked to on here.

Ill post a video with me playing it down the road instead of a recording.  🙂

@ABitRusty -

Oh yeah, forgot you have to be seen playing - duh!

SUPER playing!!!

Really LOVE how you worked everything together - fabulous.

Loch Levan Castle is another alias for Humours of Tuaimgreine!  I listed all the aliases in my original thread.

I'm totally addicted to this tune - thanks for sharing this!

Woo Hoo!

Very enjoyable to listen to before I start my shift, it sounds very good. I like how you panned it at the end good effect.

Thank you.

Very impressive Greg no doubt about it, really well put together, I will have to have a go at putting some other instruments in a video, seems really tricky though if you have to film it as well

thanks for watching @stringy .  I entertained myself for a bit on a rainy day.  The process is always fun..results usually edgey but its a thing 😊..

Theres a few ways to do a multiple instrument vid.  easiest would be to play and record one, then just listen to that on headphones and record yourself playing along.   Post both vids side by side.

You could tighten it up timing wise by using a metronome to play with..backing tracks..other things.

Or, instead of the side by side approach,  use cuts to something else to transition to the other instrument.  Like record the fiddle part..transition to a video scene of a castle..transition back to the other instrument.   Castles are in short supply in the States.. In England you have some possibilities I would think!!  That would be cool!

its not so bad or difficult as long as you dont mind the time involved.
