This is exactly two months after receiving my first violin from FM. With my sincere apologies to Edvard Grieg, here is a tortured version of Solveig's Song. Audio only. If this sound file doesn't work where it is, I'll move it somewhere else. Comments are welcome, but please, for the love of god, wait until you've stopped throwing up in your mouth before attempting to speak.

I can't seem to get to the recording. Does it require something special to open it?
Well actually it opens but is stalled at the very beginning and sounds like mice talking to each other.

Thanks everyone, I can hear that it's really bad, but I don't intend for it to stay that way. The biggest obstacle standing between me and a good sound is bow technique and getting relaxed enough to let the bow do it's job without crushing it. I actually sound much better before I press the record button, but as soon as I do, i tense up. The intonation issues are just a matter of practice, particularly in third position, which is what I'm learning now.
@StoneDog Good quesition and a subject I've been meaning to bring up. I think we would all like to know what instrument is being played, recording setup etc., when we hear others playing. In my case it's a FM Concert violin with D'Addario Zyex strings. I was recording it through an AKG Perception 220 Professional Studio Microphone into an analog to USB converter and recorded using Apple LogicPro recording studio software.
@Schaick I think any Windows Media Player or Quicktime will play it. I've been having some Comcast issues with speed though and that could be a factor. It's an AIF file rather than an mpeg format. You're not missing anything by not hearing it -- except perhaps a slight headache and a vague queasiness, but it has a much fuller and bolder sound than mice talking. I would think it's more in the realm of what one would here if they had filmed "300" using sewer rats.
