First part of Aria Amorosa which I am learning at the moment, I am experimenting with moving the bow closer to the fingerboard at times as I play to try to soften my  e string which sounds too bright, doesnt work brilliantly but I am trying, thqis piece is quitqe difficult to play for me anyway, but I getting into baroque. I am going to have to add the trills as well, once I learn it

Hello, I deleted this vid as I wasn’t happy with it, if you read the thread about dynamics You will see the reason, as well as some great advice on playing by fiddlerman

It's great how we evolve. You're probably going to get more and more picky about what you post. There is however a danger in listening for the bad.... We hear things differently when we do that. We should listen in two ways. For learning and self-improvement purposes we should listen for the things that bother us, and will most likely bother others.
But for piece of mind, comfort, and a sense of accomplishment, we must also learn to listen to our performances looking for the good things. The things that we liked, and enjoyed.....
It's about balance. 😁
Whenever I listen to you (forum members) I listen for the good in your playing.
I'm proud of you guys for working hard to achieve your goals.
