The use of drone strings, double stops, is supposed to copy the sound of the Uilleann pipes, and is used when a fiddle player is unacompanied, to give depth to the music. I borrow maybe unashamedly from the Sligo style with this, but not too much 😉

Thanks Emily ,greg katie for taking a look, my last one for a while now this one. I need to polish all my tunes a bit now, and I am running out of brain space for all the fiddle tunes. 😉
katie I think its helped my playing dropping the classical stuff for a while, I got too bogged down in it, and you can learn just as much from fiddle techniques, my opinion only though.

Thanks John, I am in the process of changing my style completely at the moment, trying some new things. Been listening to a lot of different fiddle players and how they put the inflections on their tunes.
