I have been watching the anime series Fairy Tail and it put the silliest earworm in my head. Luckily, Fiddlerman had the music available from a Tune a Week series, so I had to learn it, as well as give my new microphone a good test.

I am really happy with the sound the new mic gets, it really captures the warmth and richness Snuffles is capable of producing. I wish I had gotten this for recording all of the Christmas songs! Oh well, there is next year. :D

Also, the lighting isn't an effect, I added a couple of 'mod lights' to my studio, neat looking LED lamps that do all sorts of nifty colors and can even activate to music.

That was nice. Fiddlerman has some really nice arrangements to learn from.

I never heard the phrase, "silliest earworm in my head". 😁

@Sasha -

CanWhat made you feel the Can Can in the 'Fairy Tail' series?   Was it something in an episode, or just an overall feeling?

Congrats on the new mic - makes me feel like I'm right there with you!

I like Snuffles & like your lighting, too!

@Mouse yeah, there are quite a few arrangements there that look fun to try!

@ELCBK I think it was just something about the arrangement, not sure. I was used in the way that piece is often used, as an accompaniment for goofiness. But something clicked or shifted and I finally found myself actually enjoying that piece. Maybe I will have to learn the full thing someday and give it the full Sasha Arrangement treatment.

Mic sounds good, along with Snuffles.

Cool lighting
