Thanks Emily, Makes the hard work worthwhile when people listen and give such nice comments. I am really trying harder now than I have been doing for the last year or so, I came across this one last night, looking for slower air type tunes, on te session its described as a waltz, but I have been listening to people playing it like this, if you know of any other slow old ones that you yourself are not planning to do let me know.
Been really inspired by old Ferghal lately and watching him play, I am working on trying to get some of the cuts and rolls how he does it, not on this one, but when I practice.
Cant beat a sunny day

@stringy -
I had bookmarked a playlist of Turlough O'Carolan tunes played by Ernst Stolz - he's a Teacher in the Netherlands, into early music. He plays some of the slower tunes & other Baroque & Medieval music - has some videos playing the vielle and different size viols. I found it hard to chose favorites, liked them all.
You might be inspired by some of these. 😊

...have had my eye on 'Mrs. Judge' - cool because the 2nd part has a time change in it, but it's still a familiar sounding tune. Ernst only recorded the 1st part.
Here's Fergal's video playing it.
