Well, I posted my first video on the "video coming soon," thread, so please give me some advice on how to better my technique on there :-) however, I wanted to share a video that will be inspiration, as some day I want to be able to play this song, as it is one of my dad's favorites, and I wish to surprise him in church one day. I too have a few songs I would love to perfect and play at church. I love the vid...it is very emotional and I love the expression in the kids face. You can tell he feels every note he plays. Touching.

Thanks for posting this SirRyu. It's a beautiful performance. I love that song. I have Susan Boyle's version on my iPod and just the other day listened to it driving to work. I thought to myself that it might be a good song for the violin. Will have to look up the sheet music.

BTW, I also found this video helpful watching his bow hold and vibrato.

I am still workings towards the goal! Not quite there yet, but again, its all about persistence, practice and determination. But I know one day I will be able to play this piece!
