Interesting that mouse? Got me wondering, is this the natural evolution of violin. Maybe in a few years everyone will be using these, at least there would be no problems with intonation anymore.

I think vibrato and sliding would be harder. It isn't the exact movement like sliding on a guitar. I do not seeing this being n evolution, just a merge of the two for those who want it.

I had 1st seen a fretted violin being played online by a musician in India. 

The weird part is adjusting the bridge for intonation. 

 

My favorite video is where Mark Woods demonstrates playing a little something different on each of his line of violins!
