For the first time ever, they had Thomas do his "swan song" as a solo with orchestra back up and he did absolutely beautifully. This was his final performance with the prelude orchestra and he kept his concertmasters position for the past 3 seasons. Now he is eyeballing the concertmasters position for the high school age Philharmonic. Regardless, he was asked to arrange this performance of Concerto in B minor by Reiding so he did in 3 spots. Not one of the most technically challenging pieces but by far the best he has ever done.
