Hello friends.
I kept waiting until I did my hair or lost weight to make a video...I haven't done much of either so I just got in out of the rain... had a moment and here I am playing. Nerves really played a factor. Mostly in that I kept forgetting. I know these songs really well..but I choked on most of them. I decided to play through the mistakes and just jump in... Nerves also really had me loose composure with my hands and bowing... and of course the not straight wrist again....
I know I need longer bow strokes and I can do that... I choked with the camera on that too...and I rushed a few parts.

YES!! Great stuff CPO, well done . First public performance done, and tbh, why were you so worried. On the whole your intonation seemed good to my ears, (and IPhone), the others can give you more substantial advice than moi, so I'll leave it to them.
I have the music to "ode to joy" in my beginners book called Team Strings (violin).
If no one else has it, I'll take a photo and message it to you.
Congrats on your first video
I am amazed at how old people of my age are.....

Toni,
I can appreciate your reluctance to post a video but it was a job well done. You are so full of life, just go for it and keep posting the videos.
I could see you were so nervous that you had a little vibrato going on there from shaking. Bravery is being scared to death but getting into the saddle anyway.

Great start, CoolPinkOne!
I like your intonation!
Try to keep the left hand more straight; and fingers - closer to the strings, don't lift them so high (that's my problem too actually and i wish You to avoid it) =)
Right hand: try to put on the stick only the pinkie and the ring finger will feel itself better somewhere near the middle finger =) Relax the right hand and try to use more bow, maybe You coud spend several minutes and play full bow strokes as a warm up excercise before playing some tune?
I believe, You have a big potencial!!
Keep on the great work!!
BTW: i don't know why You worried about your hair or something else- You look very pretty =)
Nice to meet You too, Toni =)))

More humble thanks Sdsalyer, Mad_Wed, Kevin M, Dee Major, and Myguitarnow, I will get that wrist straight and longer bow strokes. Thanks for all the support. What a great group of support. Thanks so much.
Fiddle on and Have a great week.
Most humble thanks and appreciation to Fiddlerman Pierre for making this site and providing the music and tools to learn what I have so far. I just don't ever want to stop playing.
