For a long time I've been meaning to try playing my washtub cello and my stroh fiddle together on multiple tracks and see if I could get them in rhythm together. Here is my first try at doing it, I made a bass line on Noteflight and then played cello with that until I got a good take (#7), then sang with the bass and cello until I got a good take (#2), then played violin with the bass, cello and vocal. The mix here is my second take with fiddle, still needs some work but it is starting to sound convincing. The song is a tune I wrote called "Half a Jagged Shilling is a Jagged Sixpence".

Good job timing everything together.  has a unique rhythm to it.  dont know what you were aiming for but I picked up on a sorta ragtime blues feel.  never heard of noteflight ill have to check it out.  thanks for sharing the info on how you did it and the performance.  cool

Thanks all, yes ragtime is what I'm aiming for. Noteflight is a site for writing music notation, I like the playback feature a lot. I wrote the bass line here, https://www.noteflight.com/sco.....235a204a64
