If you're trying to post audio you probably have to post it on Sound Cloud then link to here. I went though the hours of frustration trying to post audio before FM saved me. 
On "Cheap eBay violins" … Just tell people they are like a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. With a little love, and some practice, they too can be made beautiful.

Anyway, I corrected LB's post. You need to use this code http://www.youtube.com/v/ followed by the last code in the address usually after the = sign. Everything else was perfect LB 
You had only kept embed instead of v

And FM- Yes you did! I couldn't for the life of me figure out what on earth was going on with posting audio!
And see you saved him too! LOL!
I Still think a sticky post with "Instructions for Imbedding a YouTube Video" would be helpful. I actually took notes off of the shout box one day LOL!
I still can't figure out how people make those links you press to take you somewhere to open something.

- Write your reply as you usually do.
- Choose and mark the text that you want to have as a link.
- While the text is marked choose and click on the link icon above
- Paste the Link URL in the space and select "insert".

Yea! A sticky would help us all stop making silly mistakes posting various things!!! Then I could throw out my "How to use the forum" notes! 
BTW- I grew up listening to music that I wasn't too keen on. I like some of it more now, but at the time I wasn't.
