Oh YEAH, you GOT it!
That's the way, uh-huh, uh-huh, I like it! ...uh-huh, uh-huh. 😊
Name caught me off guard - hate multiple names for tunes, but I still think of this tune by the name I can't even pronounce (The Humours of Tuaimgréine). (lol)
Don't know if it's all hornpipes, but you've got me charmed with this one!
Thanks for sharing this on the electric side!

Thanks Mouse and Emily for taking a look.
Emily it was you who originally put me onto this tune, I got obsessed with it ;), you are right Bout all the names, there are loads of them, it's funny how a lot of these tunes have dozens of names as well. Some of the historic behind them on the session are really interesting as you know,, thanks for the comment.

Emily, I know what you mean about getting time to record, it's getting very difficult at the moment with me to even get practice time, I have dropped to about 15 minutes a day if I am lucky, thing is though there are other things in life that sometimes take precedence. When I do get time I just play for the enjoyment of the act of playing, I think it makes for better improvement. By the way if you know any good non fiction books about violins or violinists let me know.
Thanks Mark for taking a look, and the same goes for Greg as well, I appreciate you taking the time.
Greg I intend going through your fiddle cave posts again, to see if there is anything new in there, like I said to Emily I am not getting aas much time lately as I would like, one of my problems is I have been having quite a bit of trouble with the tax man, it's return time over here, they diddled me last year and they have done it again, quite stressful.
I have a bit of downtime tonight for an hour and have been unwinding watching a TV program about model trains lol, very entertaining a I love steam engines and trains in particular, very relaxing.

I like film biographies/documentaries, but don't seem to have enough time to enjoy reading books thru anymore. Guess I do too much mult-tasking now, plus been avoiding tragedies as I get older - kinda have enough in my life without deliberately setting myself up to feel more.
Violinist.com has some recommended biographies I didn't know about: Recommended Biographies of Violinists?
