The hat made you play so well. I loved it. You really do look good with that cap. 
You have improved with leaps and bounds. Your technique is looking real nice. Straight bows, vibrato, good sound production. Way to go LB.
Now you guys know what it takes to improve. Buy a fiddlerman cap......

I love that movie. For those of you that haven't seen it. From 1986 'Crossroads' with Ralph Macchio. Good blues inspiration. Feel good movie. Available for Americans on Netflix but not for watch instantly.
1984's Amadeus is available for instant watch on Netflix.
I use a red rubber pad on the back of my violin that does two things for me. One is that it is soft but the main thing is that it is sticky and won't slide around on my shoulder.
If anyone needs one, let me know.

Yep, all I needed was the cap. If only I had known!.
