Definitely an interesting sound.  I like it.

That sounds so nice, Barry. I love it. Wouldn't say the very best I've heard from you but it surely is, instrument wise, technical wise you're always at best.

I've heard violin strung as viola but this is my first time listening to a viola strung as a violin. It definitely has the clean sound of a violin but also retains the dark, deep sound viola alike. You certainly have the best of both worlds. Very nice implementation and crossing over to the dark side while still remaining in the bright side. Nicely done.

Thanks for posting it.

thumbs-up

Sounded great!! > its sweet that your dog hangs with you as you are playing. Mine hangs when I am playing my guitar but soon as I pull out the fiddle she leaves?????? > just her way of saying you have fun with that and keep practicing.

Do you experience the sound as being bigger than with your fiddles?

Normally they say the bigger the instrument the better the sound. You kind of get that feeling when you hear or play on a small instrument, like when I played on Pky's daughter fiddle at the fiddle jam. Such a tiny sound....

Barry, Have you thought about adding another peg and making it a 5 string?

That was very nice, and I think your dog also enjoyed it.

Cool Barry. I think many people desire that.
