So this is me practice playing Lord Mayo. I just bought a few new mics and they are sensitive to a fault so you'll hear everything. Making these videos is helpful because it lets me and hear my mistakes. My intonation almost doesn't exist until I get into it a little more. So I need to learn to be on the note in the beginning. My bow isn't straight either. I pee a little to the left too. Maybe the two are related?
I cracked up in the beginning. Left it in....oh well. I'm human.

LOLOL TMI brother ! And, as for cracking-up and being human, well, I guess we all suffer from that !

Thank you for the comments. I feel like I'm in the company of old friends here! Mind you, I'm not calling you old. I mean that in the other context.
I will say my expectations of my playing are much much higher than my actual ability at present. I know I have a long way to go yet. I appreciate the suggestions.
A gentleman (so far as I know) made a comment the other day on another forum that he was a beginner with 1500 hours of practice. That started me thinking about how much time I've invested. With my FT job and my piano gig, I'm only able to get in maybe 5 or 6 hours a week at best. I've been at this for about three years, so hours of practice are somewhere around 930 if my math is correct. Seems pretty low. I had hoped to put more time into it. Then there's the idea of what I practiced. Admittedly much of it was repeated mistakes.
On the bright side- I'm not where I was yesterday and I'm not where I'll be tomorrow. For now playing in loud environments with drunk people is probably best.
I almost forgot- I was asked which strings I'm using. They are Tonica strings which are a less expensive comparison to Dominant strings. My violin was purchased from a local luthier, but I think it was kit he built since I only paid in the 1000.00 dollar range for it. The mics are SE Electronics SE7's going into a Focusrite Scarlette I8i8. The mics are SDC(small diaphram condenser) I have found that these seem to work best in my small room as compared to LDC's or ribbons.
I am considering Warchal strings next as these are kinda dead on the D and G. I have a set of dominants I might need to put on for now because I'm playing Sat.
