Believe me, you have improved. The fun thing about posting your progress here is that not only do you get tips to get better but you can see the posts way down the line and see your own improvements as well.

Naska, that was wonderful!  You jammed!  I loved it!  I especially enjoyed watching your hands.  You have pretty hands.  Vibrato, third position, flexible right wrist.  I'm impressed.  Поздравляю!

I never have anything useful to add to these threads, but I did very much enjoy your video. I especially like to see you smiling when you make mistakes. Good attitude it is all for fun after all birthday_balloon

I am privileged to have too women jamming with me. Thanks for that post Naska, I was smiling through the whole thing. I would like it if you had better lighting on your videos but maybe you feel more comfortable with the darker setting.dunno

I thourougly enjoyed it but here comes a few small comments for some goals.

You can hear the intonation as you pointed out and that in itself is great. I would like you to do it agian, don't need to record it (though we would love to see it again) while keeping a more laid back tempo. Towards the end of the first part your rush the tempo a bit ending before me. I purposely play off beat swings and that can confuse players as to the tempo. Just give it a try and you will understand what I mean.

Your posture, and your right hand flexibility are close to perfect. Congrats!!!

I would love to know what you said at the end exactly

I could barely hear it, but I think she said something like "спасибо тебе."  Or maybe it was "спасибо тебя."  It means thank you.

Yep! Believe me, i'd like to have more light too, but my camera is a cr*p... and i couldn't find a brighter lightbulb for my room duncecap

And, as Barry said: "It may have to do with the quality suffering during upload. Ive noticed when I first record mine and play them back the lighting is normal, but after uploading to youtube they seem to darken."  It becomes much worse!

That was the first purpose to me to hold the tempo. Before it i used your other video, where is the metronome on the background.. But without it jamming is hard ..duncecapviolin-studentdevil-violin I'll keep trying =)

duncecap Oho! Thanks! I don't realize what my right hand does... just trying to make it sound not too horrible...

I would love to know what you said at the end exactly

"И Вам спасибо, Пьер !" That Gail translated right: "Thank You, Pierre!" =)

@ Gail : "спасибо тебе." smile

That was really cool. Its nice how you added in your own version and then played it all in a higher position too. Great job!

Wow nice, u're starting to vibrate now, but u should keep in mind that the first joint starting from the nail should be bend back and bounce forward. Don't vibrate your whole hand, try arm vibrato it's much easier than wrist vibrato. goodluck!
