Really nice sounding instrument Barry. I really like the sound of violas and that FM Concert looks and sounds great. Now you'll get a lot of practice at transposing guitar and piano music down a fifth.

Sorry about the string. We'll get a new one out ASAP. The cheap Chinese strings are more sensitive. 
Yes Overture Ultra strings come from China.
You are picking that up SUPER fast! Love the way you utilize the C string at the end of those two pieces. That second piece was especially fun to listen to. Sounds like you combined some well known piece/pieces with some improvisation. Am I close?

Nice viola mate. Sounds really nice.
I'm waiting for new strings to arrive for mine. I broke the A string. Won't tell how I did that. A bit embarrassing really

This is true, plus the 16.5" looks like a normal size instrument in your hands. With me it looks huge. <---- I know what you guys are thinking. Not funny - LOL
