Kiara,

I don't know enough to give criticism but I do know that you play beautifully. Your intonation is great and you played that piece with feeling. I loved it!

I'm just a beginner, and have no criticism to offer. I thought the tune was very nicely played, and I enjoyed hearing it. Thanks for posting it!

I loved it. You have a great feeling going there. You can make more of it if you phrase with dynamics.
The guitar was not so audible, perhaps mic her just a bit. :)
Also, smiling from time to time makes it even more enjoyable.
Thanks for the post.

I am a fan .... !  What could I say to critique?  I listened at work with coffee and my ear phones in.... and I was enchanted from beginning to end.   Good job to your sister also!!! I could hear the guitar because of the ear buds.

Good Job Kiara.... thank you so much.  I will listen to you often and I hope I can play along some day like you.

Beautifully played.  A wonderful Scottish slow air in 6/8, a very excellent choice. I can't wait to hear more.

Aww shucks embarassed thanks so much everyone! I'll have to show my sister all the lovely comments :)

@Fiddlerman/Pierre thanks for the critique I do agree that I need some more dynamics in there, Tamar was trying to play quiet, to try and give me room but watching it back we both agree that she could have been a little louder. And as to the smiling... i try my best lol, it's hard for me to smile while playing, I loose the tune. facepalm

Thanks again, and really glad that you all enjoyed it. laugh

Absolutely the nicest version of that song I've heard, Kiara. Accompanied by your sister, it was beautiful and what a great sounding violin  you have.

I know this air very well on the flute & whistle, it's probably my favorite.  I think you did an excellent job and I really like the guitar part which complemented your playing without distracting.

How long have you been playing?  I'm not even close to your level so I appreciate you sharing your video, it's very inspirational. :)
