Well done @Mouse - both on the playing (GREAT to hear and see The Traveler in action again - I'll have to sign up for a second shot - I miss her LOL ), and on sharing the video.
I completely understand the "camera goes on, and all control is lost" thing, and also, indeed the privacy issues which can be involved, but I do appreciate the share, Thank You Very Much !
As Jim says, indeed, it becomes easier. I sometimes just set the camera on record even during practice (a) for specific visual feedback of certain technique or bowing and (b) sometimes, during what is usually over an hour, sometimes 2 hours playing, I just get bored and develop (I can hardly call it "composing") an off-the-cuff new tune - or at least the bones of it - so it's always good to be able to review stuff like that 'cos I'll often forget what I did, and some of it is in the region of being "sort of OK" LOL. Hahahaha.. yeah old age don't come alone....
I HAD planned to kick-off a sort of combined "Xmas / end-of-year" party-thread, but the delay in getting enough contributors to Pierre's Drummer Boy project sort of stopped me from doing that ( not for me, personally, I didn't want people's attention drawn to "doing something other than the project" ) - maybe it's not too late - I had better record something ROFL !!!
Thanks again cid !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -
Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)
