Hahahah - another FB forum ( Adult Amateur String Players ) have frequent "events". The one for this week was Tennessee Waltz. Well, truth to tell, that was about the 3rd or 4th tune I tried to pick out on the fiddle. Anyways - it is NOT a tune I come back to very often at all now - so I just "leaped in there", turned on the mic and cam and run this one off... NOT my best by any means - just fun.... Thinking about it now, two years on from first playing it, yup - some nice double stops would work really well - but that's for another day... so here yah go ( oh, in the second part, the backing track is a MIDI file - apparently by "Gecadero" - just found on the internet - but it was in C and I transposed it to D ) - anyway - that's just detail -
EDIT : Hahahah - YESSSS - it ( the first part ) is a bit "sharp on the ears" - I AM going to take the steel preludes off and change to the new FM strings soon ( I like the steel ones for the nasty fiddle tunes, LOL )

LOL - well thank you @OldOgre - but honestly - it was just an "off the cuff" kinda thing done in a straight single take for the event.
Personally, I was "not much more than marginally happy about it" and of course could have done better. Nevertheless, it's all for fun as far as I am concerned, so, it's all good... Thanks for taking the time to listen to it !
Fiddle on OO - that's all that matters !

LOL...... Thanks guys.,.... What WAS cool about it was, as I mentioned - it really was "off the cuff" and an unplanned, unpracticed, single take, for a post in another place. What's good about it for me is that I just said to myself - aye, I know that one, let's do it.... And that's how it turned out - happy enough about it here, for what it was..... Thanks for watching... It can only get better!!!
