This was a fun project for class that I just finished up. There are three songs that increase in level of difficulty, at least for me. I've been at this for about six months with an instructor an no prior musical experience. I am working on timing and intonation so these are not perfect but it sure was fun to put together. Hope you enjoy.

- Search for good sound results: one of the folks in my fiddle group suggested that I try out the Focusrite USB audio interface. I saved up a bit (~$200) and got one. I was surprised at how nice the microphone recorded the violin but not the ambient sound of the AC unit in my apartment. It comes with almost too much audio software but I guess you have to pick one and jump in with it. I'm used to using Audacity which is free open source code. I like how one can record right to the computer via USB and how easy it is to use. I think I'll leave the audio mixing stuff until after I get my intonation better. It is a fun piece of equipment and they have lots of youtube resources to help people get started.
