I couldn't find the thread where I posted my first attempt at playing drones, so here is a new thread.
Here is my first try from two months ago at playing drones. Pitiful, just pitiful! 
I have been working on them off and on while trying to play Angelina Baker. After listening to Barry, I think I am missing something in my attempts. For the most part I have been working on the fingering and the double stops. I'll try the shuffle when I don't have to concentrate so hard on playing two strings consistently.
Today's practice:
I still have a looonnnngggg way to go!

Yeah, it looked a lot better for the day or so that I had the cheat sheet off of the fingerboard. I jumped the gun on taking it off.

Good job, D! I'm jealous that you have the courage to tackle drones. I'm still trying to only play one string at a time, not so successfully. This gives me motivation to try some drones or double stops in the near future. Keep up the good work!
