Hi folks. It's been almost a month since I last played on my violin. I had to quit my lessons due to the big crisis my country is undergoing. So now im doing my best to carry on playing on my own. Here's a tune for you guys to enjoy.

Thanks.

Juan.

Sorry to hear you've been having problems over there Juan, but it doesn't seem to have affected your playing! Very nice indeed. thumbs-up

Juanito ! Amigo mio !   You play with fine expression and, I have to say ( from a beginners perspective here ) better every time I hear you play !  That came  across really well, very much enjoyed, thank you !   I know you have "difficult times there" - but never let that stop you following your dream - play-on my friend!  Thank you !

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

Thank you so much folks for your comments. Really feels good to get positive feedback. Yeah it's pretty tough here especially in the education field. There's been a strike for over 3 weeks. But i am holding on to my violin, music always comes in handy!

Juan that was beautiful!! Thank you. Definitely hang onto your violin - to give it up would be a waste of a beautiful talent that you have been blessed with! I'm fairly new to the forum so I'm not sure how long you have been playing but I'm guessing it has been quite a while to sound like that. I want to play like that one day :^)

Very nice job, Juan.... your vibrato impresses me, how  you've picked it up so fluent.

I love the way you play, Juan! It's beautiful. You definitely have ability!

I hope things will be picking back up for you.smile

Juan - Very nicely played! And you'll be all ready for the Talk Like a Pirate fiddle event here.

JuanFiddler, you have improved leaps and bounds.
I think it would be an inspiration to others if you posted two videos next to each other.
One from a few years ago and one playing the exact same thing today. :)
Thanks for your post.

@juanfiddler I am so happy to see that you played this.

I know this is an old post and you obviously are still playing violin through your crisis.

I hope there is some good news for you on that crisis issue.  Sending lots of good vibes and I am so glad to see other videos from you during this time also.

I know we have discussed this video.. but I never left an official comment with all my praise and gratitude for you posting it.

Love of good vibes and sunshine.

Toni
