here are 2 out of 22 songs I wrote around 2001 - 2002, and performed them at various places for about 8 years. The back grounds are from 2 sequencers, Yamaha QY 100 and Roland PM-5. I programmed in 'space' for guitar and violin breaks.

this one is disco, yep, disco. it's called Why We Dance. the lead guitar in sync with the vocals is me. apologies for too much reverb on the violin.

Thanks very much guys, I appreciate it. I'm surprised the sound quality is as good as it is.
I recorded from a 6 channel Peavy PA head, into a little Behringer mixer, to a Ghetto blaster on Cassette. one channel on the Peavy wasn't working, but I only needed 5 channels. 2 for my 2 sequencers, and one each for vocals, guitar and violin.
The Ghetto blaster had a 'counter' and when I blew a take I'd hafta rewind, trying not to erase or leave too much space in between songs.
a year later I got a friend/professional to transfer them from Cassette to CD. He added a bit of reverb to the whole thing.
